| Chi come noi ha lunga militanza in Virtualskipper ( personalmente sin da VSK1 ) ricorderà il primo sito di VSKItalia, in particolare gli appassionati italiani dato che ,essendo il primo ed unico sito Italiano di vela virtuale dell'epoca e secondo in assoluto nel mondo, tutti facevamo riferimento a quelle mitiche pagine web ...
People like us who have had long militancy in Virtualskipper (personally since VSK1) remember the first VSKItalia website, particularly Italian fans, since VSKItalia was the first and only virtual sailing Italian portal and the second ever in the world, all we had, as a reference, those mythical web pages ...
In questa edizione del sito, oltre alla impostazione "classica" , oltre alle colorazioni con toni di grigio e rosso, abbiamo voluto che il banner fosse quello originale... il primo ... quello storico.
La ragione ? Semplice : la speranza di tornare al modo di interpretare VSK che avevamo in quei tempi, quando si aspettava solo l'ora di collegarsi per stare tutti insieme , per regatare, per chiedere un consiglio, per parlare fino alle due di notte della vita vera ( in chat ... il teamspeak ancora non c'era grazie al cielo ...)
Ognuno aveva la possibilità di dare il proprio contributo, di esprimere la propria opinione senza il timore di doversi zittire perchè c'era chi urlava più forte.
Questo speriamo che sia ... ed ultimamente ho conosciuto persone che mi fanno bene sperare che quella atmosfera possa essere ripristinata.

Simple: the hope of returning to the way of interpreting VSK we had in those times when everybody was just waiting for the time to connect to stay all together, to race, to ask for advice, to speak until late in the night of true life (in the textual chat ... teamspeak was not yet there thank goodness ...)
Everyone had the opportunity to give their contribution, to express their opinions without fear of having to shut up because there were persons screaming louder.
This hopefully it will be ... and recently I have known people that make me good hope that atmosphere can be restored.
Per quanto riguarda le novità , tralasciando gli strumenti tecnici usati per creare il sito web, possiamo dire che già si è visto abbastanza : il VwMRT , anche se non esplicitamente collegato con VSKItalia, nasce comunque da aree decisamente limitrofe , infatti la realizzazione pratica è nuovamente "farina del mulino di VSKItalia".
Ed il VwMRT non è una sfida da poco ... almeno di questi tempi.
Ma la novità maggiore 100% targata VSKI sarà rappresentata dal nuovo evento in sostituzione dell'Horus Cup che dovrebbe essere varato nei primi mesi del 2014; come l'Horus sarà un evento dedicato al Match Race , ma sarà di certo più articolato ; in un recente articolo sono state date diverse anticipazioni.
Le prime pagine del sito web di supporto all'evento sono già "in stampa" e la speranza è che possiate divertirvi come sempre è accaduto alle edizioni di Horus Trophy e Horus Cup.
E questa sarà la prima di una serie di novità che speriamo di poterVi offrire ... 'finchè c'è VSKItalia , c'è speranza' ...
