Il leader non partecipa alle due regate "on port" della terza tappa e perde testa della classifica e podio, DEFENDER Piazza un primo posto nell'ultima gara e con l'abbuono per tempi, si aggiudica Tappa e maglia rosa.

Prima del turno di regate classiche , c'erano diverse domande che aleggiavano sulla flotta pronta a partire ... " Duffy lascerà spazio per qualche fortunato in comitato alla partenza ?" ... "Paolofico e DEFENDER faranno ancora a sportellate ?" ... ma sopratutto : CHI si prenderà carico di sostituire Nick-Cromit nel superamento della boa di bolina tramite _bretone-? "
In realtà non c'è stata nessuna "bretone killer" visto che non sono piovute molte penalità ... DEFENDER e Paolofico hanno realizzato entrambe ottime prestazioni e Duffy è stato visto bordeggiare canticchiando "TRA - LA - LA" ...
Ma ci sono state anche diverse occasioni perse ... quella di Kochab disconnesso per la ennesima volta e quelle di Donmasino e morodivenezia che si sono ritirati dall'ultima regata rinunciando a possibili bonus per tempi ; Donmasino, comunque conserva il podio dietro a DEFENDER e Paolofico.
