On a downwind course, ZK on starboard tack and Alare on port tack, close to each other, are sensibly sailing a parallel path, with multiple changes of tack from both boats.
Alare fails to keep clear of ZK under rrs 10. Decision : Alare DSQ for breaking rrs 10. Note : Furthermore, by luffing while on port tack, Alare creates contact with ZK's bow, which slows down ZK. PC considers the infringement of rrs10 was deliberate and calling for a double pen (PX) would have been appropriate. ed3v on behalf of PC
