dopo tanti anni di fantastiche edizioni di Horus Trophy prima ed Horus Cup negli ultimi anni , VSKItalia vuole rilanciare la grande tradizione di vela virtuale nel segno di quel rinnovamento che sempre ci ha distinto.
Il nuovo evento ricalca i tratti caratteristici della Louis Vuitton Cup e della America's Cup , fondendoli ed adattandoli alle esigenze della vela virtuale; in un primo momento avevamo pensato di dare proprio come titoli "Virtual LVC e Virtual AC" , ma ... after so many years of fantastic editions of Horus Trophy ( before ) and Horus Cup in the last years, VSKItalia wants to revive the great virtual sailing tradition in the sign of renewal that always distinguished its management. The new event follows the characteristic features of the Louis Vuitton Cup and of the America's Cup, blending them and adapting them to the needs of virtual sailing ; at first we thought the titles choice could be "Virtual LVC and Virtual AC", but ... Tra pochi giorni partirà questo nuovo evento di long races, che di seguito al successo dell'ormai classica Altura, spinge ancora di più il concetto di long race, con tracciati al limite delle due ore di percorrenza.
La formula è molto particolare : primo perchè è un evento per teams , poi perchè le classifiche dipendono dai tempi realizzati dagli skippers. In a few days this new long races event will start, following the success of the now classic "Altura", this tournament pushes even further the "long race" concept, with paths around the two-hour journey.
